As many as 10,000 students from southeast Michigan high schools will be exposed to the state’s hottest job sectors on November 28,  at the inaugural MiCareerQuest Southeast, the region’s largest hands-on career exploration experience to be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
 
Organized by the Oakland County Department of Economic Development & Community Affairs, the regional event will connect students from five counties with working professionals from nearly 100 companies throughout the area, eager to showcase their careers and the skills needed to succeed.  Students will enjoy interactive demonstrations that highlight in-demand jobs in advanced manufacturing, construction (skilled trades), health sciences and information technology.
