Ribbon-Cuttings

The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce would like to help introduce your business to the community. If you’re preparing for a grand opening or re-opening let the Chamber celebrate with you by holding a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony during your event!

The Chamber will provide the following:

• A special eVite inviting all Chamber members to your ribbon cutting.
• Upon request—mailing list of all Chamber members either in an Excel file or on mailing labels.
• Upon request—a mailing list of all local media outlets that you can send a press release to about your event.
• An announcement about your ribbon cutting in the Monday Motivator, the Chamber’s electronic newsletter that goes out each week.
• Giant scissors, poles and ribbon for the ceremony.
• A photo of your ribbon cutting will be posted on our website for one year and it will be submitted to the Lake Orion Review's What's the Biz section of the newspaper.
  

The date of your ribbon cutting is very important. All ribbon cutting requests must be received by the 5th of the month to be confirmed for a ribbon cutting the following month. This allows us time to include information about your event in all of our communications.
