The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a $1000 Academic Scholarship to a graduate of Lake Orion High School who will be pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree at a verified college. The applications and eligibility requirements are located at the Lake Orion High School Counseling Office.
The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce will present the scholarship to the selected student at the Senior Academic & Honors Ceremony on June 3 at 6:30 pm in the High School Auditorium.
The Chamber of Commerce is proud to be part of the community and hopes that by offering this scholarship we will enhance one local student's pursuit of higher education. Our goal is to encourage today's students to become tomorrow's Lake Orion business leaders.
The deadline for submitting the application is May 1, 2013.
