DESCRIPTION:Get ready to rock down Broadway at the 2018 Orion Lighted Christmas Parade\n\n\n\nLake Orion is the home of the largest lighted Christmas Parade in Michigan! The event sponsored\, planned and coordinated by the Orion Area Parade Group (OAPG)  takes place the first Saturday each December.\n\n\n\nSince 1989\, the downtown streets of the Village of Lake Orion\, Michigan have glowed with festive holiday lights the first Saturday of December. The Orion Lighted Parade has become a tradition for this community in northern Oakland County.\n\n \n\nThe parade boasts over 75 entries each year\, from civic organizations\, dance studios\, scouting troops\, local dignitaries\, marching bands\, school groups and more. The event is capped off with a special visit by Santa himself\, much to the joy of the young and old in the crowd lining the village streets.\n\n\n\n \n\nNew this year!   Pictures with Santa!\n\nBe sure to join us after the parade at the Village Hall to meet Santa and get your photo with him and Mrs. Claus!
