    Grant Fodor, AAMS®

    Edward Jones Financial Advisor

In 2008, I began my career with Edward Jones, opening the Lake Orion office in 2010, adjacent to the downtown area right on Lake Orion.

A graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor of science degree in business, a major in finance and a minor in economics, I played four years of football on a scholarship, serving as team captain for two years. Later, I received my AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

At Edward Jones, I have served as a visiting veteran in the St. Louis home office, helping mentor the newest financial advisors in the firm from around the country during their initial training courses. Currently, I serve as a field trainer and financial advisor coach in the Metro Detroit region, helping train new financial advisors, as well as helping seasoned financial advisors take their business to the next level.

In 2015, I accepted an offer to become a limited partner at Edward Jones. The firm was organized into a partnership in 1974 by Ted Jones (son of Edward D. Jones) and has remained privately held since. Edward Jones as a firm is wholly owned by the employees.

Born and raised in Lake Orion, my wife, Elise, and I now reside in Oxford with our daughter, Paige and son, Owen. I am an active member of the Lake Orion Rotary Club, as well as past president, past secretary and fundraising chairman; an ambassador for the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce; and a parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

My branch office administrator, Jan, previously worked in marketing and public relations in the automotive and insurance industries. She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism/public relations and from Indiana Wesleyan University with a master of science degree in management. She is involved with the board of the Orion Township Friends of the Library and volunteers for the Detroit Grand Prix. She attends Lake Orion United Methodist Church.
