ROCKit Coat Collection

Description

Sorting through the kid’s closets in preparation for cooler weather? If they have a coat or jacket, hats, boots, or snow pants which no longer fit, Rochester Outreach and Charity for Kids (ROCKit) would love to accept them in preparation for our free coat giveaway at the end of October. We serve local kids in need.

What can you donate?

• Coats sizes 2T – Junior sizes (Adult coats appropriate for teens are also accepted)
• Boots
• Hats & Scarves (not baseball hats)
• Gloves & Mittens
• Snow Pants

Please drop off during regular business hours at Funky Frog Resale Shop, Classic Lanes Bowling Center or Kidz1st Pediatrics by October 26. The giveaway event is October 27.

Rockit is a non-endowed program of the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester. As we seek to be
Champions for Kids – our goal is to provide for and collaborate in efforts to help assure all children have what they need to be successful and safe in the world.

Rockit collects gently used kids clothing and books all year long. We provide a grant to the Rochester Police
Department each year to hand out new bike helmets at their Open House the first Saturday in June.
