About Us
OAYA works with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court - Family Division, Orion Township, Lake Orion Community Schools, police, parents, youth and other community resources to help young people find solutions to their problems. Our mission is to strengthen youth and families and to prevent and reduce incidents of juvenile delinquency, neglect and abuse through community involvement.
The Sixth Judicial Circuit Court--Family Division provides a full-time caseworker to OAYA to provide free short-term counseling and casework services to Orion youth and their families.
Through our volunteer Board of Directors we fundraise to provide additional services for our youth such as:
* Summer Camp Scholarships
* Enrichment (extra curricular) Scholarships
* Youth Recognition Awards
* Family Events
* SPLAT (Study Play Lean and Talk) Summer Camp
* Hygiene Closets for our middle schools and high schoolImages
